Ians Fish

My good friend Ian caught a nice fish today at a local lake. It had a big gut and gave him a nice fight. Congratulations bro! Heres some pictures.

Nice Fish

Caught a good size fish yesterday, nothing like the one I caught Sunday, but still good. It was 3lb. 2oz. Used my new scale :-). Heres a picture (good pic. of the fish...but def. not me :-).

Big Bass!

I caught my biggest bass Sunday afternoon. Got some pictures and video on my friends camera, Waiting to copy them over to my computer. But it was around 9 1/2- 10lb. and was a great fight. Heres a pic. ( Pic. doesn't give it justice, ill be uploading the videos soon).

Christmas Eve Fishing

My Poppa and I went fishing today. My Grandparents are joining us for Christmas this year. Which means, Fishing with Poppa! I caught a 3lb. and a 1 1/2lb. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get any pictures seeing that my phone died. But had a lot of fun, hopefully we can go fishing a few more times before they leave.

Saltwater Fishing

Man, Lately Ive been wanting to go saltwater fishing so bad. Although I prefer fresh water, I enjoy going to the gulf for red fish and trout. Even though i didn't get a chance to go fishing in Pensacola this fall, here are some pics of the last two years. Below are picture of both of my bull red's and one of the bonita i caught. Theres also a picture of our triple bull red hook-up.

Went fishing for few minutes yesterday close by and had a nice fish round 2lb's. Heres a picture.

K-Life Campout

Just got home from the K-Life Campout, had a blast. We camped over night at Wekiva Springs State Park. We had an interesting time getting cars stuck in the sand and encountering a few deer and two black bears. All apart of the camping spirit:-). Overall I had a fun time hanging with my friends. Special thanks to Donald, Taylor and Beth for putting this on, it was great.

Another Good Fish

Had about twenty minutes to blow today before youth group, so rode down to one of my local lakes and caught a nice 2 1/2 lb. bass on my second cast. Nice fish for such a short day of fishing. Heres a Picture.

Wet and Cold

Yuck... That perfectly describes the weather we had today. Its dark, mucky, cold and rainy. But good fishing! I had a 5lb. and a 4 1/2lb. today on one of my favorite baits. Caught them within a 10 min. span. Heres me holding both of them.

Morning Fishing

Went fishing this morning and did pretty good I had a 2 1/2-3-3 1/2lb. Ian got a 3 1/2 and two 2lb. So it was a good morning. Heres some pictures of this morning. Can't wait to go again.

Awesome Day!

Today me and Ian went fishing and had an amazing day. We were killing it all day long. I ended up with six bass three 2 lb. and a 2 1/2lb. and two 5lb.'ers. Awesome fish the top picture is my biggest. The worm barely hit the water when he crushed it. Had a fun time.

Double Fluke Rig

Today I was doing some research on a rig called the "double fluke rig". This rig is one that has to flukes on the same line. The way I look at it, you get double the chance of catching a fish, double the action of a regular fluke and you have the chance to catch two fish at the same time! So, its a new thing Ive been playing around with today and as far as i know it works! Caught a nice 2lb. bass this afternoon at one of my local lakes and was so stoked to catch it on my new set up. Heres the fish and a picture of the double fluke rig.

Yesturday's Fishing

Went fishing with my friend Ian yesterday afternoon. Had a blast, although it was so cold and the bass were biting slow, we managed to pull a few out. I had three between 1 1/2lb.-2 1/2lb. not bad. And my friend Ian started us off with a nice 3 1/2lb. bass then later hooked up to a 2 1/2 lb. So over all good day considering the conditions. Had a lot of fun, Hopefully well catch a few more today.

Christmas Spirit

This years Holiday Season has been interesting, my beautiful baby sister Hope is enjoying her first Christmas with us this year. Also, Our Christmas tree has been a struggle this year, we normaly have an artificial tree but our tree decided it didnt wanna work this year so we had to go get one. So we went and bought our first fresh cut tree as a family and had a great time doing that. Saturday me and my dad went to target to get lights and such for the house and spent a few hours putting up the lights on the house, I'm so happy the way they turned out. It's not Christmas without lights on the house! Our whole family is having a good time decorating and getting in the holiday spirit. But yah, this year is gonna be a special one with my Grandparents coming into town and Hope being here...It's gonna be fun.

Cold Weather

Is it just me or lately does it feel like its Alaskan weather down here? Man today was freezing! Well, I guess at this time of year its better than an 80 degree Christmas...... I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the Holiday Season.

Bass Update

Been fishing mostly local ponds lately. Been having tons of fun catching bass and learning more about the sport. Went fishing in one of the ponds across from my neighborhood today, and had a good turn out. I ended up with 5 for today the biggest one on a black spinner bait and the others on my favorite colored fluke. Here's some pictures of my two biggest of the day my 4lb'er and my 3lb'er.

Thanksgiving Break

Well, school starts back up tomorrow after a great week off for Thanksgiving. Had a lot of fun hanging with friends and doing a lot of fishing. Met some new friends and had fun getting to know them. Hope everyone had a good break.

Thanksgiving

Man I'm so ready for tomorrow. Can't wait to spend time with my family and eat lots of good food :). Were hangin around here this year and gonna do Thanksgiving alone which should give us some time to spend with Hope and our family here. But, I wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving.

Bass Update

Went fishing today with some of the bro's early this morning and caught some nice fish. Woke up early and rode over to some of our local lakes close to the house. This one is my biggest of the day i caught it at 6:15 in the morning. I ended up catching 6 bass total today pretty good day. I was using a frog top water when he hit it hard and put up a great fight. Really fun day...

Bass Fishing

Well fishing is definitely one of my new favorite hobbies. Its a hobbie that you never truly master because every day you learn more and more about this awesome sport. Its almost like a game against the bass and you. One that you and you only determine your success. Its really fun me and my close friend have been fishing tons of local ponds and lakes and having a great time.

Football has ended.

Well, football has ended and my free time has increased :p. This year was a good year for me as i grew in my skills and abilities. The saddest part about this year is seeing all of our seniors graduate and beginning to move on into the real world. Diego, Alex, Marcus, Kellen, and Bridger...you guys all helped me to see the player i could be and help me raise my game. I am forever grateful for your support and encouragement. I wish you all the best in life.

My 16th Birthday!

Well, im 16...where has the time gone? I had an fun and amazing day, football, fishing, family and friends:-), what can be better? Thanks Mom and Dad for making my birthday so special. And thanks everyone who came and had cake and ice cream with me I had a great time.

WO JV District Champions!

Tonight WO JV had there last game. We won 30-28 and ended our season with a 7-1 record. Amazing year, great players, and great talent. Glad to be apart of a winning team. Good job guys District Champions we did it!

Bass Fishing

Been bass fishing some local ponds and lakes. I've been having a great time. Yesterday i caught a super nice bass. It was 3 1/2 pounds and was absolutely a blast to catch.
In the lakes down here we mostly use a variety of plastic worms and flukes depending on the conditions and clarity of the water. Surprisingly, i caught this one on a low diving crank bait that i was working near some grass when it hit.

Another win!

West Orange JV won again tonight against Cypress Creek High school. We won 44-0, great game guys JV team season record 6-1!

WO Varsity Game

Well, Varsity did there best tonight against Olympia High School. We lost 42-0 But it happens to everyone. Good effort guys yall fought hard.

Beat Olympia!

West Orange beat Olympia last night 18-16. It was a great game both teams played very well. Cant wait to play Cypress Creek High School next week.

Glad to be Back

Man Its good to be home. After an incredible three and a half weeks in China were home! As Most of you know we left a family of four and returned a family of five :-). I love My lil sis she everything I could ever dream for in a sister. I am truly blessed that God has placed her in my life and that I have the Honor and Privilege of being her older brother. Shes a gorgeous little girl with an amazing smile and a contagious laugh. I'm excited to watch her grow up and all the funny and exciting times that come with that.

My Summer

My summer up to this point has been pretty fun. Whats made it most fun is constant activities. whether it be camps or fball conditioning i haven't been bored which is good. Although I'm dreading the end of summer as it approaches us with great speed. In the end, I am grateful that it has been a fun one.

Fishing In Crystal River

On Wed. the 7th we went fishing at crystal river and had the best time. We went on Uncle Kevin's boat and caught a bunch of fish. I caught two 18" Spanish mackerel and my dad caught a baby shark. It was awesome. Can't wait to go again! Thanks Uncle Kevin for taking us out we had the best time.

Doe River Gorge

Got back from Doe River Gorge in Tennessee last night, I had such an amazing time up there. The activities were amazing and so were the friends that I met on my journey. Ill Defiantly be going again next year.

Last day of School

Man, Public school got out yesterday. I have a few days left, having to make up a few days from last week when I was in P-cola. But I'm almost done super close! So stoked summer here gonna be a great time.

Pensacola/ Family

Had so much fun the other night. Got together with some family I haven't seen in forever and had a blast. Played baseball with younger cous. and an intense game of spoons with the older fam. :-) Although glad to be home I had an amazing time in Pensacola last week. Can't wait to see all my cousins and family again soon. Love you all!

Emmitt Smith/ ESPN Homecoming

I was given the opportunity to attend the taping of ESPN's " Homecoming " Thursday night. Emmitt Smith came back home to Pensacola Florida to see and thank all those who supported him through out his football career. The show will air August 5, 2010 two days before he is inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame. Emmitt Smith is an amazing man and role model for people of all ages especially young athletes with dreams of taking their game to the highest level. It was an honor to attend and meet him and his family that night. There is no doubt, it's a night I will never forget.

Graduation

Congratulations! To my cousin Olivia who graduates from High School today. Also to my other Cousin Mackenzie who graduates from fifth grade today. Love you both.

Spring Game Results

The game ended pretty good JV's ended their quarter with a win with 28-7, while Varsity ended in a tie 21-21. Over all Great game very fun and can't wait for summer conditioning!

Thursday Night!

This Thursday is the West Orange Spring Football game. West Orange plays Ocoee HS. at 6:00.

Game last night

The West Orange Blue and Orange Football game went well last night. We ended up tieng 7-7 at the end and had some good plays and can't wait for our Spring game next Thursday against Ocoee HS.

Blue and Orange game

Tonight is the West Orange Blue and Orange Football game. It's basically were we play each other in a scrimmage under the lights. Admission is $1 and should be a lot of fun.

Bikes and Bmx Videos

I finally fixed my bike so happy, i got a new rim and hub PROFILE BABY! and this past week got a new front tire which is amazing and new DK wide bars and new sick white stem. Back to business.
My brother has started to video us so we can make videos which is going well he has a really nice HD camera and the quality is amazing. Other than that football and school is what Ive been up to.

My Guitar

I remember about seven years ago when I got my first guitar. It was an Ibanez Acoustic. I still have it, I took some acoustic lessons for a while and lost interest. Five years later I find myself playing everyday and learning one to to new songs daily. I absolutely love guitar electric and acoustic. Acoustic is so me though it can be whatever you want it to be. It can be rock, country, classical, its the ultimate instrument.

School Outside

Ive slowly begun to love doing my school work, don't get me wrong still not happy I have to do it in the first place :-) but actually its pretty fun.

Normal?

I was thinking the other day about the topic of "being normal". It stumped me for a second, as it thought to myself "am I normal"? Well, to find the answer to that question we have to know what normal is to find out what separates the normal from the not so normal. Has normal for this generation become playing everything"safe"? Instead of being ourselves and living our lives to the fullest, it seems we put on a mask and become someone else for a while as we put on a show for them, so that we may become normal for those we call our friends? If they are our friends, then why must we become someone else to become ourselves? To be honest I still don't know what the answer is. But I hope that one day normal becomes who we are and not what our friends want us to be.
